The Focused Fragment: Photography

Photography serves as an act of reclamation—a rekindling of a vision that finds clarity through constraint. My work is shaped by a unique physical reality: a tendency toward tunnel vision and blurred edges. Rather than a limitation, I embrace this as a creative filter, using a shallow depth of field to pull the world into a sharp, singular focus while the chaos of the periphery dissolves. The images are a journey through the atmospheric and the quiet. I am perpetually drawn to the unsaturated, the "gloomy," and the overlooked corners of the everyday. In these scenes, light doesn't just illuminate it sculpts. Whether it is a lone figure in motion or the weathered texture of an urban landscape, each frame is a study in mood—an attempt to capture the monumental weight of a fleeting, silent moment.
